On 1 September Søstrene Grene opened in Stavanger. The opening was celebrated with live music and speeches. The shop was chaotic all day as thousands of customers had arrived to take a closer look at the new shop. The shop in Stavanger is the first in Norway, but the sisters are already well into the planning of the next Norwegian Søstrene Grene shop.
